This is to inform the general public that the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control will be closed on Wednesday the 12th of May 2021 due to the Presidential swearing-in and on the Eid al-Fitr which is also due this week. We therefore advise our clients notably the Passport applicants who were meant to appear for our services on the above days to reschedule their appointments. We apologize for any inconveniences caused and we wish everyone a happy Presidential swearing-in and Eid al-Fitr.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs (Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control) wishes to inform all our esteemed Passport applicants who missed their appointments on Wed 13/5/2021 (Swearing-in Ceremony) and 13/5/2021 ( Eid al-fitr), that for efficient service delivery, they are hereby advised to reschedule their appointments to other available dates. To reschedule your Passport appointment, please take the following steps: 1. Log onto www.passports.g.ug; 2. Select “Reschedule appointment”; 3. Fill in your application details and 4. Select the most convenient of the available dates. All inconveniences caused are highly regretted. MANAGEMENT
On return please visit the head offices at internal affairs in Uganda to process your new passport.
